Chemistry Department at Arish University includes a group of faculty members represents a number of different research groups in the fields of Synthetic Organic Chemistry, Environmental Analytical Chemistry, Photocatalysis and Surface Chemistry, and water treatment using nanotechnology. The Chemistry Department includes 4 student laboratories and 4 research laboratories to serve undergraduate and postgraduate students and equip them with all basic facilities that serve the teaching and research process.

The Chemistry Department's mission is represented in including educational activities (by teaching students the basic skills that qualify them to understand chemistry) as well as research activities to serve the local and international community.
