The faculty was established by a decision of the Egyptian President of on April 18, 2014. It was affiliated with Suez Canal University until the republican decision was issued in April 2016 to separate Arish University as a governate university, headquartered in the city of Al-Arish, North Sinai Governorate, Arab Republic of Egypt.
