Our mission is to provide distinguished educational programs in the fields of geology, that support effective interaction with the environment (especially marine and desert) and the rich natural resources in our coastal city overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. We also seek to enhance the application of scientific research and direct it towards sustainable development problems and local environmental challenges, in addition to supporting the capabilities of faculty members and developing the skills of our students.
