The Geology Department at the Faculty of Science is a dynamic and comprehensive academic unit dedicated to the study of the Earth's structure, processes, and materials. Our mission is to provide distinguished educational programs in the fields of geology, that support effective interaction with the environment (especially marine and desert) and the rich natural resources in our coastal city overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. We also seek to enhance the application of scientific research and direct it towards sustainable development problems and local environmental challenges, in addition to supporting the capabilities of faculty members and developing the skills of our students.

Our vision at the Department of Geology at the Faculty of Science, Arish University, is to be a pioneer in providing high-quality education in various fields of geology and its applications, and to contribute effectively to achieving sustainable environmental development, especially in the Sinai region, and to support the proper exploitation of its natural resources, as well as the good preparation of graduates by developing their skills in a manner that complies with labor market requirements.
